This is a true Maine tradition and a rare opportunity to learn it firsthand the way Joe learned it from his dad when he was just a young boy. Together we'll dig the beanhole, build the fire, and prepare the beans before burying them in the earth to slow cook the old-fashioned way. While the fire burns down we'll make a fresh potato salad from scratch. Then we unearth a batch cooking underground since the day before. We'll gather around the fire to enjoy our beans alongside campfire roasted hot dogs and fresh potato salad, and finish the day with s'mores under the open sky. Space is limited to 6 guests. $75 per person. Saturday June 27th, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Please Note: Workshop tickets must be purchased in advance through our website in order to confirm your reservation. Cash option is not accepted for workshops. Tickets are non-refundable.
